    What is Citizenship Washington Focus?
    Citizenship Washington Focus is a 4-H leadership program for high school youth, ages 14-19, from across America. Thousands of young people come to the National 4-H Youth Conference Center, near Washington, DC, every summer to participate in a week-long program that enriches young people's lives through activities that broaden their appreciation and respect for themselves and others.


    How can I attend CWF?
     

    Citizenship Washington Program is a 4-H trip usually organized by state or county delegations. Contact your local 4-H educator for details about your state’s CWF delegation and how to apply.


    How much does CWF cost?
     

    CWF 2013 tuition cost is $775.00 plus tax per person.

    How can I join the staff of CWF? 

    Every year we hire talented, enthusiastic, versatile program assistants to lead the CWF experience. You must be at least 18 years of age and eligible for a Washington, DC, tour guide license. View complete information about becoming a program assistant and download the application package. 

    What options are available for the Cultural Heritage Evening? 

    Your Coordinator's Handbook will have a comprehensive listing of dinner and fine arts theaters in DC area.

     

    Will I be walking often?
    Yes. You will want to bring comfortable, well broken-in shoes, particularly for Capitol Hill Day.

     

    What recreation facilities are at the National 4-H Youth Conference Center?
    Full-court basketball and sandpit volleyball are available on the grounds. There is also a fitness center and a recreation room with a cyber cafe, game arcade with video games, pinball machines, air hockey, pool tables, and a large-screen television.
