CWF Supporters
Thank you to the following organizations for their support of Citizenship Washington Focus 2012:
As a supporter of 4-H, Farm Credit demonstrates their corporate citizenship and commitment to programs that benefit young people and minorities by promoting civic engagement. Farm Credit recently continued their support of 4-H youth by providing 50 scholarships to the 2012 Citizenship Washington Focus program. Farm Credit will provide opportunities for 4-H youth from diverse backgrounds to increase leadership skills and experience the nation’s capital.
In spring 2012, Molina Healthcare announced its support of 4 H’s Healthy Living programs with a gift to fund initiatives to reach financially vulnerable youth and their families across the nation. The partnership with Molina will provide support for 4-H programs to help young people develop and implement new health and wellness programming in their communities. Molina Healthcare, Inc. provides quality and cost-effective Medicaid-related solutions to meet the health care needs of low-income families and individuals and to assist state agencies in their administration of the Medicaid program. The New York Life Foundation has partnered with National 4-H Council since 2006 to engage underserved youth in democracy, civic engagement, and community service through New York Life Youth in Governance 4-H Clubs (NYL YIG 4-H Clubs). Thanks to New York Life, teens who were disconnected from their communities, disenfranchised, and at risk of dropping out of school are now developing community action plans, meeting with their elected officials, attending college, and interacting with New York Life employees.
