Wonders of Washington Program Tours

Our Wonders of Washington student tours program is specifically designed for youth groups of 25 or more. Visit major DC sites including the Smithsonian, Arlington Cemetery, the Capital Building, the monuments, Ford's Theater and many more. Our student tour specialists and licensed DC tour guides will work with you to create a fun and educational experience that your youth will always remember.

Day One of Student Tour

3:00pm - Arrive at National 4-H Youth Conference Center

  • Meet Program Assistant
  • Check in & Free time before dinner

5:30pm - Dinner at the Clover Café

6:30pm - Depart for Night view Tour of Washington, DC

  • Discover the city at night and visit the Jefferson, World War II, Lincoln, Vietnam Veterans & Korean War Memorials

10:30pm - Return to National 4-H Center Youth Conference Center

Day Two of Student Tour

7:00am - Breakfast at the Clover Café

8:00am - Depart for the White House photo stop & Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial

9:00am - Depart for Capitol Hill

  • Groups make their own appointments with Congressional Offices

11:30am - Union Station

  • Lunch & shopping on your own

12:30pm - Supreme Court

1:30pm - Library of Congress

3:00pm - National Archives

4:30pm - Return to National 4-H Youth Conference Center

5:30pm - Dinner at the Clover Café

7:30pm - Workshop (see workshop options)

  • Snack

Day Three of Student Tour

7:00am - Breakfast at the Clover Café

8:30am - Depart for Iwo Jima

10:30am - Arlington National Cemetery

12:00pm - Smithsonian Museums

  • Lunch on your own

3:00pm - Holocaust Museum

Free Evening

  • See list of evening options

Day Four of Student Tour

7:00am – Breakfast at the Clover Café

9:00am – Check Out

9:30am – Depart for one of the following

  • National Zoo
  • National Cathedral
  • National Archives
  • Ford’s Theater

12:30pm – Lunch at hard Rock Café or Lunch on own at the Old Post Office Pavilion
