members can do in their leisure time at the National 4-H Youth
Conference Center.
Fitness Center
If you still have not worked off all your energy touring the sights
of Washington, DC., you can visit our fitness center. The
fitness center offers a range of cardiovascular equipment complete
with a large TV and DVD player.
Our gorgeous campus provides spacious grounds for outdoor recreation and
quiet reflection. Bring your own sports equipment or borrow ours.
Either way, your group will enjoy:
- "Beach" volleyball and full-court basketball games
- Plenty of green space for football, Frisbee, and other activities
- Grassy areas and pleasant courtyards to lie back and soak up the sun
Indoors, it's clear that youth designed our massive recreation room and
lounge. But it doesn't matter how old you are - everyone is young again
in here, thanks to the upbeat decor and special touches, like:
- A video arcade
- Billiard, foosball, and air hockey tables
- A large-screen TV
- Plenty of comfy couches and chairs; perfect for playing cards or chatting with your new friends.
- Our free internet kiosks keep your group connected to e-mail and
the Internet, and protective software ensures that youth can go only to
permitted Web sites.

Hours vary, but the shop is generally open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, as well as most weekends and holidays.
