Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF)
Every summer, thousands of young people come to the National 4-H Youth
Conference Center to participate in Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) - a
unique, weeklong leadership program for youth ages 14 to 19. For 39 years, CWF
has taught youth the importance of civic and social responsibility.
The program includes:

Motivational speakers, special workshops, and assemblies that develop
leadership skills,

Activities that promote experiential learning and lasting friendships,

A special look at the inner-workings of our nation's capital, along with a
chance to meet congressional leaders.

Wonders of Washington (WOW)
The Wonders of Washington (WOW) program provides groups in grades six through
12 with the ultimate experience in Washington, D.C. Our professional youth
development staff will work with you to plan a mix of field trips and workshops
to highlight the historical, political, and cultural importance of our nation's
capital. We take care of all logistical planning, transportation, and
appointment setting, and we provide licensed tour guides.
Your WOW program can include:

A trip to the U.S. Capitol and a meeting with elected officials from your
state,

Tours of the Supreme Court, the Library of Congress, Arlington National
Cemetery, Mount Vernon, the Washington National Cathedral, and the Federal
Bureau of Investigations,

unforgettable IMAX film on the five-story screen at the popular National Air
and Space Museum,
